If you’re renting a home with us in Arlington, TX, or the surrounding areas, this guide will walk you through how to use the portal and make the most of its features.

How to Access the Tenant Portal

Accessing the tenant portal is simple. You can log in from any device by visiting the DFW Rent Houses website and clicking the Tenant Login button. If you’re a new tenant, you will receive a portal activation link via email shortly after your lease is signed.

To log in:

  1. Go to the DFW Rent Houses website
  2. Click “Tenant Login”
  3. Enter your email and password
  4. If you forgot your password, click “Forgot Password” to reset it
  5. Save your login info or bookmark the page for easier access

If you haven’t received your activation link or need help logging in, contact our team and we’ll get you set up quickly.

Pay Rent Online

The portal makes it easy to pay your rent from anywhere, anytime. You can make a one-time payment or set up automatic monthly payments (AutoPay) to avoid late fees.

Payment options include:

  • eCheck/ACH (bank transfer) – No additional fees
  • Credit card or debit card – May include a small processing fee
  • CashPay barcode – For paying in person at retail locations like Walmart (contact us for setup)

To pay rent:

  • Log in to your portal
  • Go to the “Payments” section
  • Enter the amount you want to pay
  • Select your payment method
  • Confirm and submit your payment

We recommend using AutoPay to ensure your rent is always on time and to avoid any issues with due dates.

Submit a Maintenance Request

If something needs fixing in your home, don’t wait—submit a maintenance request directly through your portal. This allows us to quickly create a work order, assign a vendor, and track the progress of the repair.

To submit a maintenance request:

  • Log in to your portal
  • Click “Maintenance Request” or “New Request”
  • Describe the issue clearly and in detail
  • Upload photos if possible to help us better understand the problem
  • Indicate your preferred days or times for vendor access
  • Submit your request and check back for updates

You’ll receive notifications as the status of your request changes and when a vendor is scheduled.

If the issue is an emergency (e.g., water leak, gas smell, no A/C in summer), please call our emergency maintenance line instead of submitting through the portal.
